M.S. in Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences
In addition to traditional graduate degree programs, the Department supports the M.S. in Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences (M.S. AFLS) degree for non-traditional students. Students enrolled in this degree program may obtain a non-thesis Masters degree with a 9 credit hour Plant Pathology emphasis or obtain a thesis-based M.S. AFLS degree if approved by their advisory committee. This program is administered through the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences by the M.S. AFLS Steering Committee, chaired by Dr. Randy Luttrell in Entomology. This degree program is particularly suited to county extension agents, consultants and other working professionals who wish to improve and update their technical skills while continuing to work.
