Research Emphasis
Conducts research on control of soybean diseases. Interests include applied research on disease management strategies of soybean, cotton, tomato, rice and other Arkansas crops. My efforts have focused on economical and practical use of fungicides on soybean and tomato, as well as monitoring/evaluating soybean diseases in variety trials. I am extremely interested in educating producers, crop consultants, and county agents concerning plant disease identification, field diagnosis of crop problems and methods to better manage the important diseases in Arkansas crops. My research program in soybean incorporates field screening varieties for foliar diseases and RKN, fungicide evaluation/efficacy trials, seed treatments studies, cultivar evaluation and disease monitoring..
